Women in Mediation (WOMED)

This project aims to provide a more robust understanding of women’s roles in peace processes as peacemakers and mediators from an African perspective; identify the gaps and challenges that prevent women’s inclusion as mediators in peace-making; and to draw lessons from women’s impactful and extensive involvement in community level mediation for improvement of mediation outcomes at higher levels.
