On 28 March 2023, The Centre for Mediation in Africa (CMA) had the honour of hosting the President and CEO of Mediators Beyond Borders International (MMBI) Prabha Sankaranarayan. The guiding theme of the discussion was ‘The Transformative Role of Mediative Practices in an Age of Rising Authoritarianism Globally’. The discussion comprised the following dialogue points; global trends and how these are shifting, powerful nations and people-centred peacebuilding and preparing for enhanced public engagement in the promotion of peace.
